The Grain Bowl. When we name our pieces, we're really just trying to give you a starting point.
The Grain Bowl name suggests meals in a bowl: rice, vegetables, beans, a little protein, a sauce over the top. Over time it's become one of the bowls we reach for most often at home.
The Grain Bowl can hold a full quart of brothy soup.
On a typical day, ours might hold:
- A generous green salad at lunch
- Pasta for one
- Curry over rice
- Roasted vegetables when used as a serving piece at dinner served family style
- Popcorn during a movie
- Peaches and ice cream for dessert
The bowl is generous, spacious, and study. When we started making these bowls, a team member said they were great for "eating dinner on the couch".
We love it, we highly recommend it, and we hope you are enjoying your summer meals, wherever you are.
